کارگران فولاد "ارسلور میتال"و کارگران شرکت فولاد "ترنیوم- سیدرار" - ارژانتین ، بزرگترین شرکت های فولاد ارژانتین به همراه گروهی از کارگران معدن در بولیوی با ابراز همبستگی با گارگران فولاد اهواز و نیشکر هفت تپه ، خواستار ازادی کارگران زندانی و محقق شدن مطالبات کارگری در ایران شدند.
آنان با انتشار بیانیه ای با شعار "یک طبقه کارگر بین المللی، یک مبارزه" همراهی خود را با اعتراضات کارگری فولاد اهواز و نیشکر هفت تپه اعلام کردند.
در این بیانیه ازادی کارگران زندانی و تحقق مطالبات کارگری شامل پرداخت حقوق معوقه، توقف خصوصی سازی و مطالباتی دیگر مطرح شده است.

Iranian capitalism, as an endless circle of inflation, recession, poverty and inequality, has drastically struck the lives of millions of workers and their families throughout the country. There is no day in which there are no worker protests, marches and strikes for their basic rights, to which the government's response is repression.

In early November this year the workers of the sugar Haft-Tappeh in the southwest of the city of shush, were launched to strike and organized marches in front of the governor's office, demanding unpaid wages and protesting against corrupt practices of the owners Private. The strikers also demanded that it be finished with the private property of the factory and put the same under administration under the supervision of the new worker organization called "worker council".
A few days later, the workers of the national industrial group of Iran (Itsy) in ahwaz (just one hour from Haft-Tappeh) went on strike and made public protests that lasted almost 40 days, demanding unpaid wages, The resumption of production, the delivery of raw materials for production, as well as the return of the group to the public sector.

The response of the Iranian government in both cases was a severe repression and increased security pressures as always.
An estimated number of 20 strikers of Haft-tappeh were arrested after weeks of protests and then were released. However one of the worker representatives, Esmail Bakshi, was brutally tortured in prison, administered hallucinogens and was electrocuted in the testicles. It was taken for days and was unable to communicate with other people due to post-traumatic stress.

On Monday 17 December early, the security forces raid the houses of many of the strikers of the national industrial group of steel, in ahwaz, and made arrests the subsequent days with a total balance of 42 detainees. After the protests made by families and big bond payments by the same workers, some were released. However, there are still seven workers in prison.
There are fears that most of the spokespersons of the strike steel co strike., like karim sayahi, may be receiving the same torture and treatment applied to esmail bakshi.

Therefore we call all workers, unions, organizations and movements of the world and those who believe in justice and freedom, to stand together with the workers of Haft-Tappeh and itsy and to spread their fight . Be the voice of those who are imprisoned for fighting against oppression and defending the inalienable rights of each worker.
